DISTRICT PIE

District Pie
In 1982, a massive star ship bearing a bedraggled alien population, nicknamed "The Pandas," appeared over Johannesburg, South Africa. Twenty-eight years later, the initial welcome by the human population has faded. The refugee camp where the alien pandas were located has deteriorated into a militarized ghetto called District PIE, where they are confined and exploited in squalor.

In 2010, the munitions corporation, Multi-National United, is contracted to forcibly evict the population with operative Wikus van der Merwe in charge. In this operation, Wikus is exposed to a strange alien chemical and must rely on the help of his only two new 'Panda' friends.

With the idea of District Pie (3.14) I wanted it to look just like the movie. Of course i knew that it couldnt be the same since i had to work with certain stock images and make the spaceship out of lightbulbs and pie. Though i would said it is a good resemblance.

As far as the stock images i used such as the dirt, helicopters and etc will be linked. Even the textures. The only thing drawn by me is the looped barbwire, since i couldnt find any stock images.
